Arctic Char
See what is happening in my little corner of creating. My corner keeps moving around my whole house. Haha! I don’t think my family loves that I’m constantly taking over every space for my art. Sometime I’ll have to do a house walk through and show all the spaces that have become another working space for art.
This piece is a commissioned work. I did it on two canvases but one continuous scene, I thought it would be fun to have one piece for me and one for the collector. I was planning on just letting him pick what side he liked more in the end. When I showed him the progress pictures he decided that he actually wanted to buy both. I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal to connect the two canvases and make it one. It was a headache. That was my biggest struggle with this one. In the end, it looks AMAZING. I’m am so excited to finish it up and deliver it. It is the largest commissioned work that I’ve done to date 24×72 inches.
